Can it be keyed to match my other locks?

Usually, yes. It takes the popular 570 style barrel with a Lockwood keyway (Silca LW4), so it uses a Lockwood key. It suits most restricted keying profiles. Give us a call and we can key it to match.

Can it be rekeyed later?

Yes. The cylinder comes out, so it can be rekeyed quickly.

What do “snap shut” and “key captive” mean?

Snap shut: you push the shackle down to lock it, without the key. Key captive: the key stays in the padlock while it's open, and only comes out once it's locked. It can be set up either way.

Is it certified?

Yes. All three are certified to Australian Standard AS4145.4 2002. The 83/45 and 83/50 have a physical security rating of SP6 and a corrosion resistance rating of C4.

Can I get a longer or different shackle?

Yes. A range of replacement shackles in different sizes is available. Give us a call.
