What type of identification is required to gain entry to a house?

We require photographic identification like a drivers licence and if this is with an old address we will require a rental agreement, phone or power bill. We will not let anyone into a house who is house sitting we can only let the legal owner into the house. Someone calling us to give a person permission to gain entry is not acceptable as we cannot verify who is calling.

 

Will only my key open my Energex padlock?

Yes, your key will only operate your lock. Energex has a master key to open all locks. A certified Energex Padlock is designed so its keys cannot be copied, this creates extra protection if keys end up in the wrong hands, a feature not possible with a standard padlock. A certified Energex Padlock only allows you and your electricity company to have access to your meter box - and no-one else!

 

Can my damaged Transponder key be repaired?

Yes, most likely, if you keep the electronics / chip we can put these into a new key shell and cut a key to code, which is a lot less than getting a brand new complete key cut and programmed to your car. So the parts should always be kept since the immobiliser chip may be able to be re-used. We can usually find a solution and it’s usually most likely cheaper than other options!
